Lakeshore Lodge is a long-term care home owned and operated by the City of Toronto. Since its opening in 1990, Lakeshore Lodge has provided 24-hour care for 150 residents, including personal and nursing care and quality of life programming.

Lakeshore Lodge offers a caring, welcoming environment where an improved quality of life is continuously pursued and residents and their chosen representatives are encouraged to actively participate in individualized care and service planning.

Lakeshore Lodge is committed to providing optimal quality care and service to a diverse resident population.  Lakeshore promotes an environment that supports the rights of residents to dignity, self-esteem and independence. The home follows an interdisciplinary care team approach, where residents are encouraged to maintain or improve their capabilities to function at their optimal level.
